Materiality and light are carefully composed to create depth and atmosphere within a restrained palette. High-gloss timber, sheer drapery, and sculptural lighting work together to frame each piece, balancing functionality with a sense of quiet luxury.
Italian architecture, art, and design inform the interior of Orsini Atelier, with particular inspiration drawn from the warm elegance of Villa San Michele. The space is conceived as both intimate and aspirational, a refined boutique environment that reflects the client’s story and design sensibility. A soft, neutral palette establishes a calm foundation, enriched by high-gloss Sapele timber cabinetry designed as enduring architectural elements. Generous dado rails wrap the perimeter, introducing rhythm and proportion while framing a Murano-inspired wall light, designed by Kate in collaboration with Isaac from Monmouth Glass. Sheer curtains gently veil the walls, filtering light and subtly referencing bridal traditions, adding softness and a sense of occasion. Functionality is seamlessly integrated within the design. Lighting, circulation, and security requirements are carefully resolved, ensuring the space performs as a high-end retail environment while maintaining warmth and atmosphere. The result is a timeless and considered interior, where craftsmanship, detail, and materiality come together to create a personal and quietly luxurious experience.
